On thursday afternoon, after lunch break break, DP Gachagua failed to turn up to the Senate causing confusion at the senate since it was his time to be cross examined by the National Assembly but due to his failure to turn up led the National Assembly into a big confusion.
When SC Paul Muite was consulted on the way forward for his client, He confirmed that the Deputy President was seriously taken ill and admitted at the hospital. He went further to request for two hours follow up on the state of his client to come back and give feedback.
The National Assembly had to adjourn until 5pm when they will resume with the house business.
