There was drama along shooters mihango road Nairobi after a mob stoned a suspected car thief who was later rescued by the police from Karagita police station. The suspected thief is alleged to have stolen to have stole a subaru legacy car which was later revovered.
There has been increasing cases of car robbery in Kenya especially in Nairobi since the thieves always device new means of stealing from car owners. In the recent past, there has been many tricks that they apply on unsuspecting vehicle owners.
From the car owner whose car was being stolen, the thief together with another person who disappeared had approached the owner claiming they were from DCI and that they have been tracking the car for long.
They forced the owner to enter the car and started to drive towards eastern bypass but on the way the owner insisted to know where they were headed. The suspects tried to strangle him and he shouted for help causing bobaboda riders to come for his help.
One of the suspects managed to run away while one was acousted and stonned by a mob of bodaboda riders and other passers by. The police came for his rescue but it was too late since he was badly injured, however he was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.
