Two police officers were today arrested and placed in thecells awaiting araignment to court for the offence of stealing and slaughtering a cow in Kaptagat Police Station.
Meat was recovered in the police station after two cows went missing and were traced to Kaptagat police station
According to a police signal seen by Cliff Media Tv team there was a report of missing cows from nearby location in Kaptagat Police station. According to the reportee, she was informed that a cow had been slaughtered in Kaptagat police lines and due to the angry members of the public approaching the police station, the police officers who were slaughtering the cow ran away for their lives. Below is a copy of a police signal drafted fro the same purpose.

Refer to OB 29/16/12/2024 at 2200hrs. It was reported by Josphine Kandie of cellphone no. 0721398040 that her cows went missing today around 1800hrs. She later got information that there was a cow that had been slaughtered within Kaptagat Police Station lines, and those found slaughtering had run away after noticing the angry members of the public approaching. The scene was visited by SCPC Keiyo, SCCIO Keiyo South, and the OCS Kaptagat. The scene was secured, processed, and documented accordingly. However, the situation was rowdy but contained by area MCA. Two suspects, namely No. 117047 PC Chtispus Butali and No. 125908 PC Samuel Mbugua Njuguna, who were found at the scene and adversely mentioned, have been arrested and placed in the cells. Case PBC.
