Kindiki resurfaces after days of silence

This is the year that the hard and difficult task of transforming our country will start yielding returns.

After several days of absence and silence online and in public functions, Deputy president Kithure Kindiki resurfaces with new year message and what the Kenya Kwanza has achieved for the past two years in office. There was criticism and discomfort in the online world and Kenyans were asking where Kindiki is and what was transpiring between the second in command and the president.

In his statement, Kindiki highlighted some of the progress the country has made in the past two years saying the Kenyan shilling has improved against many currencies. He went ahead to highlight what the government is intending to this new year 2025.

This partly comes as an answer to many questions raised as to where the deputy was and what might have been happening with him and the president. Among the many questions raised were where the Deputy president was and why he skipped many state functions with the president. However the deputy president did not talk about his silence and absence.
