The fourth president of the Republic of Kenya H.E Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta today responded to countries protesting US withdrawal from world fund which will affect them negatively. Speaking during East Africa Health Security Summit, he said Africa has to stand and fund itself when it comes to health issues. He insisted that we should cry for Trump removing aid from Africa
The former president said that if a pandemic arises now, Africa should be in a position to fund itself by all means. He insisted that the capacity is there and its a wake up call for Africa to up there game on preparedness to a pandemic. The former president advised Africa to use available resources to fund projects and not buying weapons to kill each other.
“I saw some people the other day crying, oh Trump has removed money oh, why are you crying? Trump has no reason to give you money, you dont pay taxes in America…”
The former president said that it is time Africa should wake up from their sleep. ……….
