The lady who was burnt on the face with acid by her boyfriend after an alleged love failure has been suspended by her church where she was serving a a choir member.
In a statement seen by Cliff Media Tv crew, The church ministry by the name the Lighthouse ministers Nairobi is where the lady was singing as a choir member. The member has been identified as Mary Claire who was serving as a choir member in lighthouse ministers Nairobi.
The Lighthouse ministers has also confirmed knowing the perpetrator who was the boyfriend to the lady and distanced itself from condoning or participating in the heinous act done to their member.
Values teachings and faith
The Lighthouse ministers stated that that they do not in any way condone or support that act since it is contrary to the values, beliefs and faith upheld by the ministry.
Suspension to MS Mary Clare
The ministry has since issued a suspension notice for Mary Clare from all ministry activities pending investigations in to the matter and any legal action. They however stated that the action is precautionary and does not in any way imply any determination of guilt.
