The Deputy president of the Republic of Kenya Prof. Kithure Kindiki Has been today nicknamed “Mwakazi” after visiting the people of Taita Taveta. while attending a thanksgiving service at Jesus Place of Praise church in Taita Taveta, The residents and leaders of Taita Taveta praised the deputy president saying he now belongs to the whole of Kenya not like the former who worked for one community and believed in the politics of shares.
The deputy president was accompanied by several leaders in a thanksgiving service which is the first one after he assumed the office of the deputy president of the Republic of Kenya replacing the former impeached deputy president Rigathi Gachagua who was kicked from office by impeachment.
The former deputy president was famous for Mlima kenya and politics of shares. The deputy president was welcomed with joy and praises and the leaders of Taita Taveta were happy for his appointment to the office as they expressed their joy for the removal of former president.
