After days of silence and speculations on the relationship between the deputy president Kithure Kindiki and president William Ruto, Kindiki came out saying he was on a short holiday and soon he will be back. This came after the deputy president went silent and missing in public functions by the president raising concerns among Kenyans on what was happening. The deputy president had skipped several functions attended by the president Including the new year celebrations in Kisii county.
Kenyans did not delay to go online to question where the deputy president had gone, they went ahead to question his relationship with the president and whether all was well. Others did not wait but to say he had been sidelined after differences with the president and his staff at the state house.
Kindiki however came out saying all was well after posting on his facebook page. On saturday he attended a wedding which was his first public appearance after going missing from the public. On sunday he attended a church function and confirmed the same that there was no difference between him and the Boss.
