A kenyan man by the name Biez Kaviru a musician from Kitui has set out a walking journey from Kitui to Nairobi in an attempt to meet the president of Kenya William Samoei Ruto and present his petition to declare cancer a national disaster.
Biez Kaviru walk from Kitui to Nairobi
Biez Kaviru decided to walk a distance of more than 170 Kilometres carrying a huge envelope which he intends to hand to President William Ruto at statehouse.
Kavuri is set to pass through several towns before arriving in Nairobi where he intends to head to Harambee house which hosts the office of the president.
Why the walk from Kitui to Nairobi
Biez Kavuri is doing the walking journey to raise awareness on cancer and wants president William Ruto to declare cancer a national disaster in Kenya. According to Biez Kavuri, cancer is killing more people in the villages silently and its time the president should declare it a national disaster.
