
The impeached former Deputy President Geofrey Rigathi Gachagua has suffered yet another blow after the supreme court of Kenya dismissed his petition challenging his removal from office.
Gachagua was removed from office by way of impeachment after the National Assembly and the senate successfully voted to remove him from the office of the deputy president.
Gachagua was replace with Professor Kithure Kindiki in the office of the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya who was the cabinet secretary for Ministry of Interior and National Administration.

After the impeachment of Hon. Rigathi Gachagua from the office of the Deputy President, Gachagua sought to challenge his removal in the courts.
The supreme court of Kenya has today given a landmark ruling dismissing the petition altogether with no orders of costs.
