Former Mbeere member of parliament Geofrey Kiringa Ruku and Hannah Wendot Cheptumo wife to former late. Cheptumo were today sworn in to be cabinet secretaries to the ministry of Public service and citizen services and Gender respectively.
Geofrey Ruku takes over the Ministry of Public service from his counterpart Justin Muturi who was sacked by President William Ruto for incompetence in delivery of service. Muturi was on the spot in several instances for criticising the government in which he was serving until the day he was fired.
Hanna Wendot Cheptumo takes over a new ministry that was recently created by president William Ruto to enhance service delivery to Kenyans. Hanna Wendot Cheptumo is the wife to the late Baringo Senator William Cheptumo who died recently while serving in the Baringo County government.
