
President William Ruto has made changes in his cabinet today where he has fired, reassigned and appointed members of the cabinet in an effort for the cabinet to achieve full strength a move that bolster the administrations capacity to continue to steer Kenya’s social economic transformation.
On his changes, the president nominated two new members to be approved by parliament for appointment to be cabinet secretaries in the ministry of Gender, Culture, The Arts and Heritage and the Ministry of Public service, Human Capital Development and special programmes.
Nominations
The president nominated Ms. Hanna Wendot Cheptumo to be approved for appointment to the Ministry of Gender, Culture, The Arts and heritage a position that was recently created by president Ruto while Hon. Geofrey K. Kiringa Ruku was nominated for appointment to the Ministry of Public Service, Human Capital Development and special programmers a position which was held by Justin Muturi who has been kicked out of government.
Portfolio reassignments
In the portfolio reassignments, president Ruto reassigned Hon. Aden Bare Duale, EGH to the ministry of Health a position which was held by Dr. Debra Mlongo Barasa while he reassigned Dr. Debra Mlongo Barasa to the Ministry of Environment, Climate change and forestry which was held by Hon. Aden Bare Duale until the reassignments by President William Ruto.
