  • President Ruto Kenya and King Alexander Netherlands signs MOU

    The president of the Republic of Kenya H.E Dr. William Ruto and His Majesty the King of Netherlands Williem Alexander today signed three memoranda of understanding between the two countries that are aimed at strengthening ties between them

    This comes when The King of Netherlands His Majesty Williem Alexander and Queen Maxima comes to Kenya for a three days state visit to the country. The King was invited by the president of the Republic of Kenya His Excellency the president and commander in Chief of the Kenya defence Forces William Samoei Ruto.

    In the first day of the visit, The King and the president agreed on several issues leading to the signing of three memoranda of understanding between the two countries, The bilateral agreement is based on Agriculture and trade, regional security and climate change.

    The memoranda of understanding will enhance Dutch investment in Kenya, enhance agricultural and industrial transformation and drive infrastructure development in the country thereby accelerating economic growth and expanding job opportunities for the youth.

    The King of Netherlands HM Williem Alexander and Kenya president William Ruto walk in statehouse Nairobi

    The king of Netherlands His majesty Williem Alexander arrived to the country for a three day state visit to Kenya accompanied with the queen of Netherlands.

    Deputy president of the Republic of Kenya welcomed them at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport on behalf of the president His Excellency Dr. William Ruto on 17th of March 2025 at around 8pm.

    King Alexander comes to kenya to strengthen the ties between the republic of Kenya and the Netherlands.

    Kenya and the Netherlands have enjoyed a long term diplomatic relationship dating back to over 60years.

    The king together with president Ruto have witnessed the signing of different MOUs today in an effort to foster a stronger tie between the two countries.
